In your “more info” section, you say that Bonsai is Chinese. It is not. Bonsai is a Japanese art. The Chinese have a similar are, not as refined as Bonsai, called Penjing.
As for tools, concave cutters are essential. Japanese-made tools, pots and wire are far superior to Chinese or Korean.

To be honest, this is all you need to be in bonsai from the stuff he said, good branch cutters and some razor sharp scissors. The rest is really optional. Like for wire….. you can use other stuff you get for 5 bucks at the local hardware shop.

F.Y.I The broom is called a coco brush,and its not just used clean the outside of the pot its used to clean the top of soil in the pot and there are many other ways to use it when working on bonsai.
